A prolific figure in the plein air scene for many years, John Lasater is widely regarded as one of the premier outdoor painters in America, evidenced by his invitation to join the prestigious Plein Air Painters of America. His paintings have won numerous awards nationally including “Best of Show” twice in the Plein Air Southwest Salon. John lives, paints, and teaches in Siloam Springs, and his dedication to his craft has inspired many. He gives back by writing and teaching, sharing his knowledge and passion with others. Through a life dedicated to artistry, John hopes to continue inspiring others and creating beautiful works of art.
