Join us August 24 from 10 AM to 2 PM to explore the creeping, crawling, floating, and fluttering life of Cane Hill!
Experts from the University of Arkansas Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology will be on-site to help you identify your captures, determine the order of each specimen, and share fun facts about each insect. Staff from the Scott Family Amazeum as well as Northwest Arkansas Community College’s Living Labratory will also be on hand to provide some buggy fun.
Bring your family or a team of friends, or plan to meet new friends. This free, nature-based educational program is designed to provide a community-based BioBlitz to help record the abundance of insect life in the area.
Teams will have a chance to win prizes, including passes to the Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville!
A food truck will be on site in case your tummy gets rumbly.
This is a FREE event, but we ask you to register here to help us prepare supplies.
