Historic Cane Hill is pleased to host an exhibition of paintings
by Arkansas artist Wendel Norton May 1-July 26, 2025.
An opening reception will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Historic Cane Hill Gallery, 14327 State Hwy 45, Canehill, AR 72717. The public is invited to attend.

Confluence: The Ozark Mountains, Buffalo River, and New York City – Paintings of Wendel Norton will feature works inspired by places where Norton lived. Whether setting up his easel in Central Park or along the Hudson River, painting views from his studio and home or painting en plein air on the banks of the Buffalo River, Norton’s style includes vibrant colors and painterly strokes and captures the natural beauty of the places.
