What makes a piece of furniture “Arkansas?” Victoria Chandler, Curator of Collections at Historic Arkansas Museum, will lead an exploration of the various styles of furniture found throughout the state over the past 200 years.
Historic Cane Hill is thrilled to welcome the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas to Cane Hill to present the Sequoyah String Quartet as a part of the SoNA Beyond Series.
Two free performances will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm in the historic Cane Hill Presbyterian Church.
Sequoyah Strings will present an accessible program of music ranging from classical favorites by Mozart and Dvorak, to reimagined folk songs by Arkansas-native composers Florence Price and William Grant Still.

The collective imagination of Ozark old-timers was populated with creatures fierce and fantastical. In the spirit of Halloween, Brooks Blevins will reacquaint us with some of those monsters and tell us why we still know about them even if we didn't grow up telling stories about them around the campfire.
